Moorestown, NJ – Sheila Harris-Adams, Vice President of Business Development recently partnered with Aspire Youth Development and Student Working Professionals in a workplace development program to prepare young people for their future careers through the training program “EMPOWER”. This program prepares Burlington County out-of-school young adults (ages 16-24) for employment through an intensive 2 week training on the soft skills necessary for workplace success, and a job shadowing experience where they get a hands on experience in several key industries. Young adults who are participants in this program spent the day at Parts Life, Inc. shadowing Ms. Harris-Adams and other members of the Parts Life, Inc. team.
Founded in 2007, Parts Life Inc. provides life cycle sustainment management and supply chain solutionsthat extend the life of expensive military mission critical assets. Clients include the U.S. Army, Dept. of the Navy, and department of the Air Force as well as the Defense Logistics Agency, prime military contractors, and key players in the automotive, aerospace and construction equipment industries.
